Inside Asia's Largest Walk-through Aviary
Birds, Biodiversity & Wildlife Conservation

3-Day Field Experience | Lishui, Zhejiang, Ages 10+, School Groups, Customisable Programme

Wildlife Conservation Biodiversity Animal Welfare Ecology Field Research

Programme Overview

What inspires two young next-generation stewards to invest RMB 200 million building Asia's largest walk-through aviary, a specialist avian research centre and a state-of-the-art bird hospital?

Far more than a leisure attraction, this extraordinary conservation complex grew from a deeply personal vision. On this three-day field programme, students get to unpack this compelling backstory firsthand — instead of learning about conservation only within a classroom.

Students spend three days inside one of China's most distinctive bird conservation centres, exploring the relationship between wildlife, habitats and people through direct experience. Working alongside bird keepers, conservation educators and field practitioners, students investigate how rescued birds are cared for, how habitats are monitored, and why biodiversity matters at both local and global scales.
